    1. What is JENOLITE Stove Glass Cleaner used for?

It’s a fast-acting foam cleaner designed to remove soot, ash, carbon, tar, and grease from the glass surfaces of woodburners, stoves, and hearths, leaving them sparkling clean.

    2. Can it be used on hot glass?

No. Always apply the cleaner to a completely cool surface to avoid damage to the glass or evaporation of the cleaner before it takes effect.

    3. What types of surfaces can it be used on?

It’s ideal for stove and woodburner glass, fireplace doors, and hearth glass panels. It can also be used to remove oil and food residues on other non-porous household surfaces.

    4. How does the foam formula work?

The foaming action clings to vertical and horizontal surfaces, allowing the cleaner to penetrate soot, tar, and carbon deposits for deep, effective cleaning without excessive dripping or mess.

    5. How do I use it?

    1. Shake the can well before use.
    2. Spray directly onto the cool glass surface and allow around 5 seconds for the foam to penetrate.
    3. Wipe clean with a cloth or paper towel.
    4. For heavy deposits, repeat the process until fully clean.

    6. Do I need to rinse after cleaning?

No. Simply wipe away the residue with a clean, lint-free cloth. There’s no need to rinse with water.

    7. Is it safe for all types of stove glass?

Yes, it’s formulated to be safe for use on heat-resistant glass, as used in stoves and woodburners. Always ensure the surface is fully cooled before application.

    8. Can it be used inside the stove or on metal parts?

No. It’s designed for glass surfaces only. For cleaning metal stove parts, use JENOLITE Stove Grate Cleaner, which is formulated specifically for that purpose.

    9. Does it leave streaks or residue?

When used as directed, it leaves a clear, streak-free finish, restoring the glass to a bright, transparent appearance.

    10. How should I store the aerosol?

Store in a cool, well-ventilated place, away from heat and direct sunlight. After use, invert the can and spray for 2 seconds to clear the nozzle and prevent blockages.

    11. Is it made in the UK?

Yes — like all JENOLITE products, Stove Glass Cleaner is Made in Britain, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability.

    1. Apply directly to cool surface
Shake the can well before use so the agitator ball can be heard rattling. Spray the area to be cleaned and allow 5 seconds for it to penetrate the dirt effectively.

    2. Repeat the process
After 5 seconds, wipe the surface with a clean cloth. Heavy duty grime or soiling may require the process to be repeated.

    3. Storage & Reuse
To prevent blockages, invert the can and spray for 2 seconds. The aerosol should be stored out of direct sunlight, in a cool well ventilated place.
