1. What is JENOLITE Waxoil Rust Prevention Spray used for?
It’s designed to provide long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion on vehicles and metal surfaces. Ideal for use on cars, bikes, motorcycles, trailers, and underbodies.

2. What surfaces can I use it on?
This spray is suitable for:
Chassis and underbodies
Wheel arches and sills
Inside doors and panels
Exposed metal parts on bikes and motorcycles
Classic and modern vehicles

3. Is it truly clear? Will it alter the appearance of my vehicle?
Yes, the product dries to a clear, non-glossy finish, helping protect your surfaces without affecting their appearance.

4. How do I apply it?
Shake the can well before use.
Spray evenly onto clean, dry metal surfaces.
Apply in a well-ventilated area or outdoors.
Allow to dry—typically touch dry within 1 hour; fully cured in 24 hours.
Multiple thin coats are better than one heavy coat for maximum protection.

5. Do I need to prepare the surface before applying?Yes. Remove dirt, rust, and old coatings. The cleaner and drier the surface, the better the adhesion and long-term protection.

6. Can I use it over rust?
For best results, treat rust first with a rust converter or remover, then apply the Waxoil. Applying over active rust may reduce effectiveness.

7. Is it safe for use on all types of metal?
Yes. It is formulated for use on most common automotive and industrial metals, including steel, iron, and aluminium.

8. How long does the protection last?
Under normal conditions, it provides protection for 12–24 months. Reapply annually or after deep cleaning to maintain performance.

9. Can it be used in engine bays or near heat?
It’s not recommended for high-heat areas like engine bays or exhausts. Use in low to moderate heat zones only.

10. Can I paint over it?
No. The waxy finish will repel paint. If painting is needed, remove the Waxoil thoroughly before applying paint or primer.

1. Prepare the Surface
Make sure the surface is free from dirt, oil and other contaminants. Remove all traces of oil or grease. Remove old paint and loose rust with steel wool or wire brush.

2. Shake Vigorously
Spray on the Waxoil in smooth, even strokes from around 15cm-30cm away. It’s key to ensure that the whole surface area has been fully covered for maximum protection. For high corrosion protection, bare metal should be treated with an anti-corrosion primer prior to use.

3. Storage & Reuse
This aerosol should be stored out of direct sunlight and in temperatures below 50°C. To prevent blockages, invert the can and spray for 2 seconds. Extremes of temperature affect drying performance.
